"Bay of Islands" - The World Famous Deep Sea Fishing Grounds. Home of New Zealands first capital and an area steeped in History. Made famous by the very famous US Author Zane Grey for its premier Marlin fishing waters. The area provides fantastic fishing and diving opportunities which are at least the equal of anywhere else in the world.

Our unique tour program allows you the opportunity to play golf on the picturesque Waitangi and Keri Keri Courses as well as cruise and fish the glorious waters of the Bay of Islands.

We, of course, provide you with guided tours of the most significant Historic places in this very important area of New Zealands' heritage.

  • We provide an experienced, low handicap, mature golfer as your guide & golfing companion.
  • Our standard package provides twin share accommodation at a quality hotel - we will book Motor Hotel or upgrade to Single room, Suite or luxury hotel if you so request. (our adjusted quote will be sent to you).

PLEASE NOTE : All our itineraries assume you have timed your flight arrival time to be AM hours on day one of the tour. If this is not possible or practical for you we will adjust the tour timings to suit.

HISTORIC NORTH - 7 DAYS

DAY 1 :

  • AM - Meet and greet at Auckland International Airport. Transfer to Auckland City hotel.

    NOTE : Your arrival time will dictate this day. If you arrive AM hours we will arrange activities to suit - otherwise you have the time to explore some of the many Auckland attractions.

DAY 2 :

  • AM - Early departure for the Bay of Islands
  • PM - Golf at Waitangi (see Northern Courses at index)
  • Evening free

DAY 3 :

  • If the party has indicated they would like a days fishing we will arrange this as a full days boat charter. Otherwise this will be a 2nd golfing day which would take you to KERI KERI (another inlet town in the Bay of Islands) (see Northern Courses at index)
  • PM - Free

DAY 4 :

This day has been left free to allow tour members to take advantage of the local scenic, cultural and/or historic attractions in the area.

Members may wish to take in another days fishing or an additional round of golf. (The tour director will make all required arrangements - costs will be additional to the tour package)

DAY 5 :

  • AM - Travel back to Auckland with stop to play the Gulf Harbour Country Club (see Auckland courses at index) and then on to inner city hotel.
  • Evening free.
DAY 6 : AM Golf at Titirangi (see Auckland courses at index)

PM - Free - The Tour Director will be available to make any arrangements on behalf of tour members.

DAY 7 :

It will depend on the time of check in at the airport as to activities planned this day. Once again the tour director will make all arrangements as required.

Tour members will be transported to the Airport in ample time to take care of departure details.

You can extend this tour with the addition of non golfing, golfing or fishing days in the Bay of Islands or with additional golfing or non golfing days in Auckland. It would be of assistance to us if you advise of any itinerary amendment requirements at the time of booking.
TOUR COSTS

You may chose one of the following options for this tour package (Separate tour members may choose separate options)

  • Option A :Where a tour member elects to go deep sea fishing with one other tour member on day three. Tour Cost will be USD 2315.00
  • Option B :Where there are two other tour members fishing. Tour cost will be USD 2195.00.
  • Option 3 :Where there are three other tour members fishing. Tour cost will be USD 2130.00
  • Option 4 : Where day three is a Golfing day the tour cost will be USD 2075.00

    COST INCLUDES :
